Assumptions (External Factors)
A.1 Creation of a Patronato by Panamá´s National Legislature to administer, conserve and protect the facilities of its business, cultural and social complex and the assets entrusted to it.
A.2 Selection of the Patronato`s Board of Directors
Time frame: 18 months

B.1 Obtain approval of all shareholders to transfer their shares for the physical building of La Posada to the Patronato at a symbolic/no cost.
B.2 Transfer the land deed where La Posada stands from the Ocú Municipality to the Patronato at a symbolic/no cost.
Time frame: 6 months

C.1 Secure funding from Panama´s central government for the restoration of La Posada (approximately: US $ 500,000).
Time frame: 12 months plus 12 months for refurbishment.

D.1 Create a social enterprise framework, including projected revenues/expenses, financing, target customer base and marketing strategy
D.2. Raise the required funds to meet start up costs.
Time frame: To be accomplished during the projected 12 month refurbishment.

Narrative (Logic Model)
If a Patronato for La Posada de Ocú is created to control and manage its land and building assets, it will be able to negotiate with Panama´s government the required funding to restore this structure and organize and complete a working business model, that will allow La Posada to serve as a sustainable location to do business, socialize and enjoy Ocú´s famed hospitality, history and folklore.
Time frame
La Posada will be fully operational in a four-year time frame (48 months).
Although it might be considered as lengthy, it takes into accournt normal wait times for Panamanian bureaucracy to operate.
